We need the following information : the number of flash drives you want, their capacity, the name(s) of the model(s) and your company’s contact details. We will send you a quote within 15 minutes. Then we will create the BAT (final proof) in less than an hour. You can confirm your order by mail, fax or post. After that we will send you an invoice and start production and complete the registration of your payment. All you need to do now is wait for the shipment!

 

• Is it possible to have a preview of the custom flash drives?

Of course it is! And it will be more than a simple preview… As soon as you choose the characteristics of your flash drive (model, colours, size, orientation… of your logo), send us this information with your logo or a slogan. Our designer will send you a virtual proof in less than an hour. This form summarizes the necessary details needed to obtain the virtual proof. This document will summarize all the characteristics of your flash drive and provide high definition images of what your flash drive will look like.

 

• What is BAT (final print proof)?

BAT is a virtual proof. It puts all of the features of your flash drive into a high quality visual. This is very important because the production of your flash drive will be based on this document. Once you get a precise image of what you want, we will review together every aspect of your BAT in detail before placing your order.

 

• What file type should we provide to obtain a BAT?

We prefer vector files with .eps and .ai extensions. If you aren´t in possession of these formats, we accept .jpeg, .bmp, .pdf and .png files provided that they are of high resolution.

 

• How long does it take to obtain the quote?

We send quotes free of charge within 15 minutes, no matter how many quotes you request.

 

• Is it possible to get samples after BAT?

We are able to send you free dummy samples in the shortest time possible. To give you an idea we can send you some samples even before you request a quote.

 

• What is the procedure for a model which doesn’t exist in your range of products?

First of all, we must find it for you. In order for that to be done send us an email with a detailed description of the model you want. As for the next steps you should take, all you need is a little patience. We will take care of everything.
Secondly, if your model is not yet on the market, we are able to create it for you. Based on the information you send us we will produce a custom form in strict compliance with the expected proportions.

 

• What kind of different printing techniques do you use?

Screen printing
This printing is made by laying different stencils on the fabric. There are as many stencils as there are colours in your logo. This technique is perfect for logos which don’t contain any shades or gradations.

Digital Print
This printing is similar to printing with a printer but the difference is that it is optimal effect for all materials that we have on offer. This technique is perfect for big logos with shaded images.

Laser engraving
A powerful beam of light is concentrated on a very specific point. It releases heat which consumes the surface material. Thanks to the control of a computer, the obtained inscription is very accurate.

Embossing
Embossing is a technique usually reserved for leather. The surface is highly compressed in order to represent your logo with precise contours.

Pad printing
A tampon is created for your logo and then it is pressed on the surface of your flash drive. After being coated with ink the tampon leaves a clean imprint on your flash drive.

 

• What are the best printing techniques for my logo?

It depends on the fineness of your logo, its size, colours and especially the material on which it will appear.
For wood we recommend engraving, but screen printing, pad printing and digital printing are also possible.
For metal surfaces engraving will be efficient, as well as screen printing. Pad printing is used rather less often. Photo printing is impossible for this material.
If your flash drive is plastic, all types of printing, except for embossing, are acceptable.
For leather flash drives, embossing is the best method, even if it is possible for your logo to be engraved, printed, pad printed or even screen printed.

• Is it possible to use two printing techniques for the same flash drive, or even for the same logo?

Engraving or screen printing? If you can’t decide between these two, the machines in our factory are able to meet the challenge of linking these two techniques. In this way, while your Twister flash drive is engraved on the front, it may well be screen printed on the back. This works with all types of printing, provided that the material supports the methods used.
Yet, even more precise work can be done by using two different techniques on the same logo. However, this type of printing cannot be used for all types of logo. We prefer logos that contain very distinctive parts (              ).   
For instance, logos containing a “shield” underlined by a company’s slogan are suitable for this type of operation (                         ).
Nevertheless, for two techniques superimposed on each other, the resulting changes can be too uncertain to obtain a satisfactory result.

 

• What procedure do you follow from the order to delivery?

As soon as both parties confirm the BAT, the order is sent to the factory which will start producing your flash drives without delay. During the manufacturing process we will carry out 8 quality control inspections to check that the structure and memory of your flash drive and the printing of your logo are up to standard. Our factory is ISO 9001 certified and quality control is conducted under the watchful eyes of our experts. After inspection your keys are individually covered with plastic, which constitutes the first protective layer. They are later put into a big resistant bag and finally packed into boxes. If your payment has been registered, we call our transport service immediately. Your order will be picked up directly after leaving the factory. Then your order will be shipped by air within two to three weekdays, depending on the destination.

 

• What is your delivery time?

Your order will be shipped within 7-10 workdays. We allow a 3-day margin in case of any potential logistic setbacks.

 

• Can you dispatch the products to different sites?

We are able to handle this type of delivery upon request. We will notify our carriers who will customize the destination of each of your packages.

 

• What means of payment do you accept?

We usually receive transfers, but cheques will also be accepted.

 

• Is there a system monitoring the delivery?

As soon as the package is sent by our factory, it can be tracked through our carriers (DHL, TNT, UPS) thanks to the tracking number. Just send us an email with your order number and we will immediately send you information on the progress of your delivery. In this way you can continuously monitor your delivery step by step.

 

• What is the minimum order?

We deliver our products anywhere in the world for orders ranging from 25 units. Our offer is therefore  targeted at both small and international companies.

 

• Is it possible to get keys of different colours in the same batch?

If the models are different, the colours may vary at will from 25 units. In the case of similar models, this is also possible and can be negotiated with your account manager. Nevertheless, for the case of pantone colours, you’ll be charged, unless you order more than 250 units.

 

• Is it possible to customize each flash drive separately?

This is another type of service we can provide for you without difficulty, whether it is for your clients, employees, or students. In this way your keys will be designed for a specific person. This type of customization is generally made by laser engraving. However, in the case of certain models it is possible to do it by screen printing.

 

• Can you load files onto USB devices?

It is possible to load all file types onto your USB device: a Power Point presentation, pictures, or audio files... Send us your documents and we will put them on your USB keys.

 

• How do we send data to you?

If your files are not too big (they don’t exceed 20MB) you can send them directly by email to sales@usbpioneer.com. You can also upload your data directly onto our ftp server. If neither of these options suits you, you can send a CD or DVD directly to our premises. Whichever method you choose, your files will be in good hands and loaded on each of your USB keys.

 

• Is it possible to install an autorun file?

Let us first go over the definition of this type of file. To put it simply, if you decide to insert an autorun file on your USB key, an image, music or even a video in your company colours will launch immediately as soon as you or one of your clients plugs in the flash drive.  We can preload this type of file onto your USB device. Please note that there are two types of autorun files, the ones which can be used freely and the protected ones. If your autorun files are protected, they will launch as described above. If your files are not protected, after inserting the flash drive a window will open asking whether you want to launch a particular file. Still, your USB flash device will be fully customized, and the customization goes as deep as the electrical circuits.

 

• How are the files on my flash drive protected?

It is possible to protect the files on a flash drive. Protected files cannot be deleted. How do we do it? In our factory we create two partitions on your flash drive. One is recognized as a DVD or CD which of course can be copied, but cannot be deleted. This partition can contain files such as price lists, contact details or other essential information about your company that you want to protect.  The other partition, containing the rest of the memory, can be used for reading, writing and deleting files.

 

• Is it possible to customize the name of a removable disk as well?

By the name of a removable disk we understand the name under which the device will be given after being plugged in. We can give it a name of your choice upon request – for example the name of your company, provided that it doesn’t exceed 11 characters.

 

• What type of internal memory is used?

The memory in your flash drives is of a high quality and has a one-year warranty. Samsung, Hynix, Toshiba, Micron – these are the brands we use the most often.

 

• Which versions of Windows are incompatible?

Our flash drives are compatible with all versions of Windows and the Mac after the year 2000.

 

• What is the warranty for your flash drives?

Our flash drives have, as a minimum, a one-year warranty from the date of your order. This warranty doesn’t apply to any malfunction caused by an accident or misuse. However, in the case of faulty units, please return them to us so that we can determine the cause of the defect. Faulty flash drives will be replaced. Still, you will be surprised to see some of your customers using our flash drives for several years.

 

• Why customize a flash drive?

First of all, it is a technique which reflects the spirit of the times. The computer revolution allows us to create advantageous flash drives which are an effective communication tool. USB flash drives are very common but rarely used for this purpose, so your order will be both useful and original.
